Day Twenty Seven

Dorothy’s favourite ornament was made of nuts and bolts and was welded together by her young son.  He and his father fitted it with fibre optics and made it light up white and red with a little battery pack glued to the back of it.  It isn’t sparkly or large.  It isn’t fancy or expensive.  None of that matters to her.  What is most important is that it reminder her of a time that was, to her, perfect. He family was together and happy, and that was all to her that mattered.
