The first convention for Blood and Motor Oil was a great success drawing the attention of some big names in Canadian publishing. Submissions for the big players of the comic publishing world will be going out in September. My table mate, METAL BRICK GAMES, and also the artist for Blood and Motor Oil - Archive, was able to meet the writer of his favourite XMEN comic, and got it signed, and we also decided that between him, and Joshua Jackson, either one could play the Canadian Hero, Captain Canuck. It was a great day, and we met lots of local artists, writers, and creators. Looking very forward to many more fun filled weekends on the Con circuit later this year.
